I started out in radio with the University of East Anglia's student station Livewire 1350AM. I have since been involved with community radio and carried out work experience at both local and national radio stations along with independent production companies. In 2011 I graduated with an MA Radio Production degree from Bournemouth University.
I have experience of presenting both daytime and specialist music shows, producing live shows and programmes, recording and editing audio.
Whilst at the University of East Anglia I joined the student radio station Livewire 1350AM. I started out presenting specialist dance music show "The House Sessions", featuring upfront house music and guest mixes from DJs including Mylo and Judge Jules. I later changed the show into "The Sessions", showcasing dance music of all genres and also began to present the flagship daytime show "Wired".
I also spent two years on the committee as Head of Specialist Programming and Head of Production.
At Derbyshire-based community radio station Amber Sound FM I presented and produced the weekly "Saturday Night In".
The predominantly music-based station serves the Amber Valley community, providing local programming and news alongside a mix of music spanning al decades.
In addition to presenting my weekly studio-based show, I also participated in the Amber Sound roadshow outside broadcasts, interacting with and interviewing members of the public.
BIRSt (Bournemouth Internet Radio Station) is an on-demand student-based radio station run by the MA Radio Production course at Bournemouth University.
I have produced a number of programmes for BIRSt, which can be found on my profile page. I have also produced and presented a number of live shows for BIRSt Live!.
I was Station Manager at BIRSt, responsible for overseeing the running of the station.
