I have been involved with the University of East Anglia's student radio station Livewire 1350AM since 2005. The station is run by students for students and broadcasts around Norwich and the surrounding area on 1350AM/MW and also through the station's website http://www.livewire1350.com.
I have spent the majority of my time at the station presenting a specialist dance music show. However I have also spent a considerable amount of time presenting daytime shows which are focussed more around entertainment, chat and chart music.
I have also been involved with the running of the station for two years. I was Head of Specialist Programming for year. This role included organising the specialist schedule and also ensuring that all Specialist DJs knew how to use the equipment. I have also been Head of Creative and Production for a year. This role has seen me having to assign producers to shows and making sure that these producers had ideas for show features. I am also in charge of all imaging at the station and creating the station sound.
