I began DJing in December 1999 when I was thirteen years old. Starting out with some basic Soundlab Decks & Mixer.

Over the years I have played a range of music, starting off playing mainly trance and now playing mainly house music. I don't really tend to stick to one specific genre when DJing. My sets can include anything from electro house through to break beat.

In 2001 I entered the Young UK DJ competition and after my demo tape was accepted I secured a set at Ikon & Diva nightclub at the Skydome in Coventry. This then led to me securing weekly sets at local Derby club Matrix until Christmas of 2001.

In the summer of 2002 I again entered the Young UK DJ Competition. My demo tape was accepted and I was selected to play at Genesis & Liberty's in Chesterfield. There were 6 DJ's in the running at this second heat and I finished 2nd. This meant that I was into the last 25 of the competition in the quarter finals. This time I was selected to play at Ritzy, Wirral. Unfortunately I didn't progress any further in the competition but it was satisfying to get down to the last 25 from over 500 entries.

After several sets at The Courtyard and Susumi in Derby and The Lounge in Burton-On-Trent, I began playing at Midlands night "Progress". This gave me the opportunity to play both main room Trance sets alongside some of the country's top DJs and also House sets at various nightclubs across the Midlands. During this time I played a long side DJs Judge Jules, Paul Masterson (Yomanda), Scott Mac, Darren Tate (Jurgen Vries).

Since starting University at UEA in Norwich my DJing has been taken to another level when I began hosting radio shows for the University's radio station; Livewire 1350AM in 2005. I have presented both Specialist shows based around dance music and also Daytime shows too. Since starting out on Livewire radio I began to get sets at various nights around Norwich. I have been resident at UEA's Union club night at the LCR and also at their Union bar for two years. Through this residency I was featured DJing at the Zane Lowe hometaping tour at the LCR in 2006. I have also played at a lot of clubs around the city centre playing mainly house and electro music.
